So I have 4 full backups and 14 incremental backups (the first chain contains only 4 incremental backups) that take 15TB. The retention period is set to 14 points.Ĭurrently, I have 3 complete chains and a new full created yesterday. Today we have a backup job that creates a full backup a week with 5 incremental backups. I want to optimize our backup policy following the upgrade to Veeam B&R 9.5 Update 1 and the installation of a new backup repository.
